Spirit of Bhutan
The Spirit of Bhutan cultural tour explores all of the highlights of Bhutan’s western valleys at a relaxed pace allowing time to really gain the most out of this unique Kingdom. It provides the perfect overview of Bhutan’s rich culture and spectacular scenery.
Day 1
Arrive Paro – Thimphu
Tamchog Lhakhang, Tashi Chhodzong and later evening stroll down the Thimphu city.
Day 2
Thimphu Sightseeing
Buddha Point, National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Zoo, Textile Museum, Postal Museum and Folk Heritage Museum.
Day 3
Thimphu – Punakha
Dochula pass, Botanical Garden, Chimi Lhakhang & Punakha Dzong.
Day 4
Punakha – Phobjikha
Morning short hike to Khamsum Yella Temple and then drive to Phobjikha Valley. Evening visit to Black Necked Crane reserved center.
Day 5
Phobjikha – Paro
Morning visit Gangtey Goempa and then drive towards Paro.
Day 6
Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Morning hike to Tiger’s Monastery. Afternoon visit Rimpung Dzong and Ta Dzong.
Day 7
Excursion to Chelela Pass
Drive to Chelela pass. Its a two hours drive from Paro. Later on visit Drukgyal Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang.
Day 8
Depart from Paro
After breakfast, drive towards airport for onward journey.
